I was baking a few weekends ago when I heard something. Music playing on the tv in the other room. It was slow, strange version of "Creep" and it pulled me in like the goddamn pied piper. This was anything BUT a pointless rant. You wrote my life growing up with the internet LOL

This gets me so excited talking to others about the internet back in the days. I remember talking to people and trusting what they said when I asked A/S/L !! We never had pictures!!! I met my ex on Friendster.com. I remember being kicked offline when someone called and getting annoyed. I remember my website on Angelfire! :):) !!!

Actually, I think there are TWO Facebook movies. There's one called The Social Network and another one that I don't remember the name of, but it's calling itself "The REAL Facebook movie."

Oh, Facebook. You can't even have a movie about you without OMG DRAMA.

I felt (feel) the same way about the movie, and I completely understand the whole growing up "beside" the internet. I did many MANY of the same things. It's kind of surreal. Maybe not the fact that, that's what happened, but that I'm now old enough to understand and see something develope in that manner.

Is it the ACTUAL story of Facebook? I've heard that it's loosely BASED on the story. Anyway, I was interested too. Oh AOL - I remember the chat rooms fondly. I actually reconnected with my first online bf (yes, i was a geek) through Facebook. Haha.
