Cool crisp air

Last night was awesome. We rode almost 20 miles from 10pm-midnight. Kelly rode with us. We went to West Carollton and back. We rode the bike path and it was soooo perfect out. It was cool and dry, not humid as usual. It was just perfect. I had a great time. Brian taught Kelly how to use her gears after we realized she had no idea how to. Kelly and ( Read more... )

I know how you feel. I recently adopted a second kitty, Zoe, about two months ago and she keeps shitting on the basement carpet in the corner. Not only do I want to punch her in the face, I keep threatening to send her to the Korean restaurant...I wont do either even though it is very tempting :p

I really regret getting her sometimes and I hate that I feel that way. I never thought I would be the kind of person who could send back an animal, but sometimes she REALLY tries my patience.

Gibs SCHREDS my carpet!! Like... everywhere. He picks any old spot and goes nuts. He has scratchers and he uses them and likes them, but it's like he can't get enough. It seriously makes me want to throw him out the window.

oh man! cat problems! we had such a problem with pip when i first moved in with mandy. i kept telling her (and him!) that i was going to set him free in the wilderness. haha. or i was going to go leave him in the drop boxes at the emergency vet. but, we've managed to (mostly) get through his annoying kitten years ( ... )

I ended up putting clear tape on ALL of our living room furniture because he was just fucking shredding it all. So that solved that. Now he literally picks completely random spots of carpet! anywhere! everywhere! Wherever he happens to be standing! No rhyme or reason I can see. It's really boggling. He'll flip out on his scratching post, then tear at his card board shredder thing and then next thing I know, he's in the middle of the hall just ripping up carpet threads. Auuuuuugggh. I want to set him on fire. (ok ok not really... but you know what I'm saying ( ... )

long bike rides are the best. i wish we had longer bike paths - our longest is only 12 miles round trip, which means i have to aimlessly bike around town after i'm done if i want a longer ride (i always do!) i've gotten up to biking 20 miles daily and now even that doesn't feel like enough. i'm such a bike addict! my husband let me use his fancy light mountain bike last night. i just went for a short ride, but it seriously felt like a vacation. i went ten miles and i could've went forever. after riding a heavy single speed cruiser, it's really hard to get a work out from a mountain bike.

Oh my god, I want you to understand how hard I was laughing when I read this! Brian asked what I was laughing about and then I tried to explain and then, of course, it didn't sound funny, I just sounded dumb hahahaha
