What a day!
We laid in bed until 11:30 this morning. Last night was kind of the suck at the bar, but it's whatever.
We got up and went down the street to the Oregon District and went to 5th Street Deli and had amazing sandwiches for lunch. I had an energy drink, which I've been basically addicted to lately. Then we went to Petsmart and Meijer to ( Read more... )

as far as getting a cat to use a scratcher of some sort, i had the best luck when i would catch alfred scratching somewhere he wasn't supposed to, and then i would spray him with water (i have a cheap plastic spray bottle from walgreens, it was with the hair stuff i think) and then i would take him to this scratcher and move his paws across it like he should when he scratches it. this took a while until he got the hang of it, but eventually he did, and he's been using his scratcher like a champ ever since.....

Aww, you have such a cute dog and kittie! How do the ferrets get along with the new additions to the family?

unfortunately, we don't have the ferrets anymore :(
When I lost my job in KY, and we moved back to OH, we had to stay with family for several months before I found a new job. They were NOT accommodating with the ferrets. :/
We found someone who was training to be a vet who adopted them from us. She was really thrilled to adopt them. We miss them, but it took us almost 3 months to find a place and there was no way our family would have lived with them for more than 3 weeks.
