Taking the DART south for the first time ever I think. Yeah, first on bus or train.

imagine having to use it as your way to get to your elementary school by yourself, and having it take more than an hour to school.

Blech. I can't imagine. I heard some of the 'joys' of riding DART during rush hour. However, the hour time isn't unusual. I was almost an hour and a half for the school bus, and that has its own set of joys and therapy inducing incidents.
