You don't need a guy to be a whole person. Or even a happy person. As complex and contradictory as individual people are, I'm surprised anyone ever has a lasting relationship. I enjoyed some of the most memorable moments of my life alone. Such occasions feel very genuine in retrospect.
I wouldn't knock anyone for not being Christian. It can make a relationship complicated or even implausible. I believe you that Steven isn't the most savory of characters, but being a non-believer is not in itself a bad quality. I'm agnostic myself, and the subject, from this particular angle, hits close to home.
Well, obviously you don't have to have a guy to be a whole person, and I am quite happy, but to have it reiterated is nice. And I know that a lot of us girls do have a kind of nagging worry about finding a husband. I know that not all women want to settle down and have a family, but a lot of us do, and sometimes it feels like a ticking clock in the very back of our minds, even though it is completely silly, especially for those of us who are still quite young
