[ficlet] Works Well: Zabuza/Haku

For the corpse-eaters, you know who you are. (more than there should be)
Too late for Pr0ntober, but I think everyone's used to that by now.

Damn. This was absolute love. The tale of old, grizzled Zabuza and how he makes Haku come to him on his own terms. Except not.

Haku losing his usual precision = hawt.

As always, this was so well written it almost brings tearms to my eyes. Thanks for sharing!

Only looking back did I see the magic word Pr0ntober. Funny, because I was planning to pimp it right and left anyway. So... do you mind if I add this to the Pr0ntober master list? ^_^

Hee! I love Zabuza/Haku, but they're nearly impossible to write--this is probably the 5th time I've tried, and I think the only one I've ever posted.

And yes! I'm still not entirely sure what Pr0ntober (I thought...you don't wanna know what I thought, but it comes mainly from seeing it on your posts and thinking "Oh. Like fic on demand? Fic a day? Oh. Cool."

And then I realized the word porn was in there, just very subtle. Very subtle. I read most of flist either really, really late at night or really early in the morning, so almost everything is really subtle.

But sure! That'd be cool! I have...no idea what it is, but that's cool. I would like to know what it is, though ^_^ Belated, as most things (you can probably tell I'm not completely awake right now either), but I would like to see this Pr0ntober thing.

Sorry about the late reponse! I'm just a spaz. Pr0ntober, basically, is just this really informal little thing I started over at my LJ. I just got into a new fandom (Bleach!) and I'm trying to exhaust all my smut muses so I can write some *cough* Serious Fanfiction. >_>

But anyway, it has sort of taken off with people randomly posting smut stories or even just snippets all in celebration of a month devoted to Pr0n! (I'm choosing to do a fic a day, but everyone else is treating it a lot more informally.) This phantom Pr0ntober Master List (that I'm really in the process of making. Really!) would just point out all the stories. Is it cool if I add this? I'm planning to pimp it nonetheless, if you don't mind. I'm sort of drifting sideways out of Naruto fandom, but when people write great fics, they need to be recognized, dammit!

Serious fanfiction...huh. I don't...I don't think I've ever heard of that. Does it involve bananas? I try and stay away from bananas.

But...hey, coolness! It's always good when random things start to come together on there own--there is justice in the world! And it's cool to add! I had...no idea what the whole pornthing was (I seriously though it was Pr0nto-november or something, a lot like fic on demand and...yeah :D I think it was also your fic a day things that made me think that), but this is cool to be added! I shall...see if I can't write anything else for the event, but I can't promise.

And...yeah. I'm wonky in the Naruto fandom too.

Sweet! Much love for the chocolate and SasuNaru icons (which only promote the canon-ness of pairing, swear to Bob).

They're not actually dead--it was all a clever illusion, made to make the audience cry and add depth to the, um, surviving characters? I guess? But this is all completely TRUE.

Typos...those typos. They might be in there, they might not--they're silly things.

Wonderful! Hot and rough, but still so nice, because Zabuza loves his Haku. ♥

He does! He really does! He's very mean about it, but it's still true.

Also, what I really love about this pairing, is that it's more likely to be Haku (underaged, soft, squishy) who makes all the first moves and seduction while Zabuza's "What are you doing?" and, yanno, funny. And hot.

Incidentally, icon love. And icon steal-age, same time.

It's very plausible because Haku is far more open about his feelings and knows very well what he can do. ^_^

Credits to keleri for this wonderful icon.

It's cute--and it's Haku, who, in the manga and anime, really does hit on Zabuza. He's too young to have a follow up plan and Zabuza's either thick, disbelieving, or freaked out by the jail-bait/guy thing, but it's still cute.

I love this pairing. So much. So funny.

In only half an hour? You're a genius.

*flails* The world needs more Zabuza/Haku. Hee, I love all the small details, like the treehouse and the meadow's grass and how Haku notices things before Zabuza does. ^__^ This is so wonderful. Thanks for writing~!

...I'm psychotic. If I spend hours trying to work something out, I wind up playing solitaire and icky junk. If I spend half an hour, sleep-depped and warm, I get...this. I'm...insane. I think. Uh. Anyway!

The world totally DOES. God, there isn't enough. I think I can only think of 1 or 2 fics that I really like out there...and I can only remember where one of them is for sure.

And it was building their characters, I think, that was the best part for me--I can't write them because I get all stuck on the stereotypes and the whole 'tool' and 'happy suicide/sacrifice' thing, but...I ran through it. And it was late at night. And...wow. Now it's early in the morning. *see icon*

But the world TOTALLY DOES.
