And it'y my upstairs neighbor (I did say I'd write a bit about him this week). I live on the fifth floor of a six floor house in a studio apartment next to my parents' apartment, and this guy lives in the studio apartment above mine. And I just fucking hate him.

I can relate... The guy downstairs loves heavy metal and video games. Need I say more? He also owns a home theater system and must be half deaf by now.

I'm highly sensitive when it comes to noises thanks to my previous upstairs neighbor (my former landlords' teen-aged daughter). She loved to play loud music (I'll never understand why children need a subwoofer in their bedroom!), swear at everyone and everything, yell she'd kill herself (which she never did because they called the cops and the paramedics when she threatened to do so) and stomp around all day wearing high heels. I was trying to finish my thesis at the time. Needless to say, it didn't go very well. :(

Fingers crossed you can get rid of the guy upstairs!
