Oh these crazy kids with all their issues. Seriously, they need to go find a nice, quiet planet and have ALL THE FEELS. Then, hop back on the Infinity and find Halsey, tell ONI what to do with their orders, and, in general, be awesome. :D

(And I don't think you have to worry about a S2 of SparOps, as of right now there aren't any plans for it. BUT, there is a new set of comics coming out in Aug that are about Palmer's past.)

\o/ I fear for Lasky, though. Imagine you had to break up fights between a bad tempered augmented super soldier and a mad genius scientist on a daily basis... I think he needs John back. There's no way he could do it alone and command Infinity, while he's at it :D

So I read this whole fic last night. Once I started, I couldn't stop, and then it was 4am, and I was at the end, and I didn't know what to say!

You... you made me a Lasky/Palmer shipper. That is unbelievable! I can't believe... I swore that I wouldn't ship them! YOU! Why did you have to make this so well grounded and perfectly in character?!

In all seriousness, I really, really love this story, all the depth and emotion, going so much farther than the character glimpses the game has given us. It's that depth in Halo that I love so much, and you've captured and developed your own piece of it. It's really fantastic, at the expense of using my name, that you've been able to achieve that Halo universe feel through your narrative style and story. Even if these two never become canon, you've convinced me.

Also, I sooo want to know what Sarah was thinking in that heated moment! XD
