So, just for the sake of completeness, the application service told me today that my application for a Masters is formally correct and will now be handed over to the University of Potsdam. Yay! Because, you know, that's where it fell through last year. So, I took at least one more hurdle than at my last attempt, that can be counted as a success,

Totally. He's really tech savvy and everything (been a software engineer since the 70s or something) but he is 62. It just weirds me out. But it's also so very cute :D

Heh, both of my parents are on facebook. At first my mum didn't have her own account and kept logging in and stalking people with dad's, so her getting her own was actually less confusing *grins*.
