You know, the funny thing is: practically everything in the US is produced with metric measurements. Cars are produced with metric measurements. NASA works with metric. The Marines use the metric system, at least in parts...

you'd think that we'd just switch over so we'd be in line with everyone else but apparently the government is still stuck in the adolescent stage where we have to defy everyone just because we can ;)
