I happen to be a big fan of Dr. Keller and you have captured her great (or at least I think so).

Aw, thank you! Jennifer didn't get a lot of writer love in the show (or, okay, she got the wrong kind of writer love *cringes) so I'm always glad when people like my version of her ;)

I don't think I am a good constructive critisizer since I go *squee* every time I read Brad Colbert's name in an SGA fic...

I really love how you've portrayed Keller here - the strength, the sense of responsibility, the perception, and her sense of caring. She's a great character, and I really like how you've got her here. I'm amused at how she keeps calling the Marines 'soldiers' - hah!

I really like seeing Brad from an outsider's perspective - the inscrutability, the competence (hot!), and the fact that he's assisting where not absolutely necessary.

Good stuff.

Yeah, that's Jennifer :D I figured she'd not really care what the soldiers landing on her operating table call themselves because to her, they're all patients that she needs to take care of (and, occassionally, needs to threaten to make them stay right where they are (ie. in their hospital beds)...). Also, she's probably doing it to annoy Cadman...

I was a little worried about Colbert seen from the outside, especially from somebody like Keller who might reasonably be expected to be intimidated by him - it's very easy to make him larger than life and all-Iceman-no-humanity. And he might be the Iceman, but he's also secretly a bit of a dork

I think you captured Brad better than on the first draft. He's not the same as in GK, but then he's older and on Atlantis now. Things changed. Brad changed. He can't be exactly the way he was in GK. So I think it suitably fits. :)

and I think I really need a Brad Colbert icon. damn it.
