I just don't get the motivation behind this. Apparently, it was meant as a political statement against the Deutsche Bahn (who owns the S-Bahn, but not the U-Bahn... yes, this is confusing, I know ;)) who allows their tracks to be used by Castor transports of atomic waste.
But... I don't get it. What do they want to achieve with that? That ordinary people hate anti-atom activists? Well, I'm pretty sure they are a step closer to that now (additionally to half the city being without S-Bahn coverage, half the town was and partially is without internet coverage because the cable fire also caught cables of a wireless/internet carrier... idiots).

I do think that they are approaching their goal right now.
Sabotage is definitely not the solution. That and they will be hated even more with the internet issue.
Oh yeah U-Bahn is the subway/metro/RATP. Used to take the dark green line during my short time in Berlin.
