 This is not really the kind of Christmas he’d had in mind this year. Actually, that’s not really the kind of Christmas he’d ever had in mind for any year. Okay, so it’s not the first time he’d been on call over Christmas and not even the first time they actually called him but… yeah, ending up in hospital afterwards never happened before.

Love that line! Poor Lorne, his internal censor must really have been rattled in the accident (or just sustained proximity to Laura :)

Yeah, I like to pretend to myself that I actually gave them any ending at all... not that I created a new 'verse and that Nana Cadman wants me to write how she tortures advises a defenseless Lorne (because, you know, it's pretty much impossible even for Lorne to get away from Nana Cadman with his leg in a plaster cast...).

(Also, yay for using the only Christmas song I can take for any length of time ;)
