He has no idea what he's doing in front of Sergeant Whatshername's door and he's about to turn around again but unfortunately in the same moment, the Sergeant appears in the doorway, her face almost surprised and a little irritated. "Something up, Doc?"
Right. Of course a little respect was asked too much of a member of the city's Marine population. "Hey Dusty, who's the unfortunate soul who dared to disturb Slasher Night?"
Just great. He could finally make up his mind and go to thank Menda for carrying him to the 'Gate first and then donating blood for him and it just has to be the night she has Cadman over.
The Sergeant turns around and calls back, "Dr. McKay, ma'am. Any idea what he could want from me?"
It's followed by a snort from Cadman. "Dunno. Ask him about that ( ... )

Oh and its absolutely adorable. But you so could write a Dusty/McKay date that would rival rodlox's date :P Just saying.

I can't help feeling Lorne and Cadman having been plotting this... (Of course, they think it'll end in highly watchable disaster, when in fact it is meant to be ;)

Me, neither. Deep down they're just evil manipulating hedonists who like to watch other people's misery for fun too damn tenderhearted and concerned about the people around them, you know :D
