I'm glad you think so. It was really tempting JUST to draw him over and over, but aside from that I think the drunk Loki was my favorite (also took me 5 minutes).
I need to gush a little more now that I've had a couple of days to look more closely at these. I LOVE LOVE LOVE drunk!Loki and sympathetic!Bucky. The expression on the dog's face, and the sense of Loki clinging desperately to the bed so he won't be thrown off by centrifugal force-- just brilliant. Love. Bucky and his antlers are just as precious, and the portraits of both Thor and Mitchell are just beautiful. Bucky snuggling the helmet is both sweet and very touching, and Loki pondering in the box room, with his Abbey Road poster behind him, is lovely. And I just adore the sitting-on-the-stairs handholding. Just the perspective on the stairwell alone fills me with envy, let alone the cowl of Annie's sweater and the way their hands are linked.
This is just beautiful, and I am so grateful and flattered that you had the inspiration and took the time to use your talent this way!!
Hopefully I'll get them inked at some point so you can see them better. Relieved you like Thor, that 4 inches of space took more time to draw than any of the others, which is ridiculous.
I'm rather proud of the stairs too (figures need to be fixed though), that and the couch are the first time I've done perspective in at least a year and a half.
Here via coneycat_fic's post about your illustrations for her fics, and I agree that these are really adorable and also very, very good. All the characters are excellent. I'm envious! :)
I always wonder what loki would make of the Disney movies and a kid!loki fic had Natasha giving him a dragon so it is only fair that if gave the avengers a puppy they give him a stuffed animal
