Had some time to talk with Yuushi and Ohtori, some time to think things over a little.  Things still ain't calmin down on my end, but they don't look as bad as they did.

S'like I was bein the way lame one. Ohtori's still the same guy who was my best friend-still is, I think.  Yuushi ain't too bad, either. He's changed.

I called Ma to let her know.

Just let me know what your mother thinks they will need. I know there are some really nice 24 hour nursing companies that can help out, allow your family to get some deserved rest.

Best case scenario for us right now is the 24 hour companies, just cause Ma's on shifts that she can't change, and Dad's been spendin really late nights at the lab. It's not that we don't care about Gran, it's just...difficult waitin around for what's gonna happen. It sounds bad, but...I'm hopin it's not gonna be long. She's hurtin.

Sorry I treated you like shit, man. Wish it didn't take me this long to realize it.

I will find the numbers of a couple of the best companies near your parents' home and they can decide who they like best. That way they will be comfortable....and so will your grandmother. I promise you she won't have any pain or loneliness in her last days. It isn't bad for you to want her to not be in pain, Ryou...and I can tell you are hurting just seeing her this way.

You do not have to apologize. We've both made mistakes in the past. I think we should look towards the future - and I hope that future (and the present) has us as friends, Ryou.

...You knew Gran a little, Yuushi. No bullshit, always the loudest to cheer from the stands, somehow knew everything.
It ain't Gran anymore. Just a blank shell. Fucking hurts.
