I don't want to jinx it but here we are after 3 successful nights! She is still not in love with the idea but she does give in after a while. Last night when I put her back in her bed after a 2am feeding she woke up & squiggled & wormed & wiggled & squirmed for a good 25 minutes before going back to sleep but the point is that she put herself back

YAY! Not only is Kira learning but mommy is too. ;) I'm so glad she's getting used to her bed. Before you know it, she'll be asking to go to bed like Elliot does! tee*hee!

Oh please, you're a new mommy. Talk away! Heck, Elliot's 2 1/2 and that's all I still talk about! How can you not talk about them all the time though? Everything they do is just too stinking cute!

Yeah.. I've never heard babies can't have strawberries.. maybe because of the small seeds? If you pureed them though it shouldn't be a problem but you're right, since it's a SIL's request for her daughter's 1st (?) bday I guess you can't ignore her, huh? :/ Maybe you could do something else with blueberries? Or just make a plain vanilla cupcake and make them all cute?

I hope one day she is as good as Elliot is with bedtime! She still can't put herself to sleep so I understand but it will be great to have our evenings back! You should see how excited Apollo gets to be in my lap when Kira is in bed.

The strawberry restriction is an allergy thing. I never heard about it either but you're right... I can't go against Amy's wishes for Luna's first birthday. So I'll just have to get creative & fast! Luckily it's just a small family party so I don't have to make a lot. Frijoles!

I know I'm way late on catching up, but I hope the cupcakes turned out well. I would have said go with the blueberry. So sweet you are thinking of everything too. Wanting her to feel like she has her own special cupcakes, not the same as Indi.
