I'm thinking you need to publish those somewhere high profile. They are incredibly professional, better than some professional photos I've seen. Can you get any contacts?
Of course they're broad, you're young and travelling, you're not a reporter with an angle. that;s part of what makes them so great, the diversity of the topics. I'm certain the BBC would publish them on their website
That looks like a pretty good way of getting my name out! Thousands of people would see my pictures! They say that I would have the copyrights, but that they will accept only 8-10 pictures and captions of no more than 40 words. Hmm, looks like I'll have to do some editing before I submit anything! I wonder if they would post the pictures of just faces? I took a bunch of (what I think are) great pictures of children's faces.
It's a shame that they have stopped all of their competitions. Their Photographer of the Year looked really cool (and much easier to win, number-of-competitors wise, than than the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award from the Natural History Museum in London!).
No, but I don't think my photography is quite up to their level yet. Plus, their stories are always very focused on a specific topic. I still simply take pictures of things I find beautiful.
I'll have my name in that magazine but the age of 35, you can be sure of that! I'm too stubborn and determined for that to not happen! : )
