Today there was exactly 14 hours of sunlight. The officialy sunrise was at 6:23 and the official sunset was at 8:23.

The best (only?) good thing about summer is all the extra sunlight. I can't wait for the next few months when the sun will be completely up by 5am and there will still be traces of light past 10:30 at night.

perhaps the nly thing i truly loved about germany were those long summer days. if they had actually been *warm* on those long days, i might want to go there every summer.
