PROLOGUE:
“And that’s a wrap! OK! Good job! Thank you! Tomorrow again after class, okay?”
“YES!” The theatre club members chorused.
“Director Lee-ssi,” said a tall, brown-haired guy. “What’s with the ‘Director Lee-ssi’ now, huh?!” said the black haired with a pout.
“But you are the most respected director of this musical, and I am just an actor!” the brunette reasoned with a playful smirk on his thin lips. “Are there any other directors here in this play?” said Sungmin, raising an eyebrow at the freshman. “The assistant director!” Kyuhyun retorted with his goofy grin. Sungmin first glared at his dongsaeng before sighing in surrender.
After seconds of silence, both started chuckling.
The younger winked at his hyung, flailing one arm, “I’m just kidding, hyung.” Sungmin just rolled his eyes, but he is smiling, and said, “Whatever. Why are you still here?”
Kyuhyun shrugged his shoulders as he avoided meeting with Sungmin’s gaze, slightly blushing. “Nothing. I just don’t feel like going home yet,” He then looked around before fixing his eyes on the older male, who just locked the door, “Hyung, are you going home alone?”
“Uhh... yeah... Hyukjae said he’s got dance practice ‘til late at night. But, I’ll first check on him. Do you wanna come?” Kyuhyun childishly beamed at that, vigorously nodding, “Sure, hyung.”
As they walked through the corridors, they just talked about everything under the sun. Mainly about how glorious of a boyfriend Lee Hyukjae is.
No matter how much Kyuhyun’s heart was being squeezed at every word Sungmin brought out about his boyfriend, he forced himself to let out a smile… in front of his beloved, his hyung, Sungmin. He is an actor, after all.
“Ahhh...” The two looked at each other with a frown, but then chose to ignore the familiar unpleasant noise. It is a usual scene for us, anyways.
“Ahh... ah! ah!” The noise keeps on getting louder and louder as they continue making their way to the dance studio, where, apparently, Hyukjae is supposed to be staying.
“Ahh... there! ah! ah! Hyukkie!” And then, they stopped dead on their tracks at the mention of that familiar nickname.
“Ahh... yeah... so... tight!” and that was the last straw. That is definitely his voice.
Sungmin clutched on the knob firmly, finding it weird that it isn’t locked, his heart feeling like it is being wringed so tight that he can’t even breathe properly. He took a very deep breath, trying to regain his composure and hold his tears back, before slamming the door with all his might, creating a loud ‘BANG!’ which surprised the couple inside.
His eyes widened like saucers after seeing what’s inside; aside from the fact that Hyukjae is naked, and is on top of a guy, that guy with his boyfriend in such position is none other than his long time best friend. The two just gawked at him… frozen on their spots. There are words wanted to be blurted out, but nothing came. Shit.
Okay, then. Sungmin laughed bitterly, his laughter ringed inside Hyukjae’s and Donghae’s ears, creating an echo effect. “Oops...” he breathed, “I am so sorry! It looks like I interrupted something very important.” Sungmin said sarcastically.
Kyuhyun could just look at him with pity as he walks away slowly, slowly.
As thoughts of happy moments spent with Hyukjae flooded his mind, his legs finally found the strength to go faster; for the only thing he could do now was to run and run, until...
“BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!”
“SUNGMIN HYUNG!!!!”
