I didn't know I wanted Lara Raith fic until I read your description but I have always found her fascinating and I want to see her ruling with an iron fist stiletto and being the badass that we all know she is. Although the Greek Mythology prompts are also brilliant...
I am so tempted to sign up for this but between four classes and the book, I'm petrified that I'd end up defaulting for lack of time.
Is Luccio really a lesbian, though? I never read her that way. Bisexual, certainly, but she struck me as a woman who's done it all in her lifetime. I never saw anything that specifically led me to believe she was a lesbian.
Well, Lara's surprise at Luccio's relationship with a man--the surprise of a sex vampire who definitely HAS done it all and who wouldn't be shocked by anything--IS canon. And I believe that it was stated that Luccio was, according to Word of God, though I can't find the quotation now.
In any case, who she sleeps with isn't the issue for me. The thing that gets me is that she was forced by mind control to start and pursue a relationship. Which means that she was not free to consent, even if she seemed to be. That would be horrible for any woman, whether she was straight, lesbian, bi, trans, questioning, genderqueer, intersexed, pansexual or ace.
