YAY GOOD NEWS

I held off on posting this until Governor Andrew Cuomo signed this into law, but, as of eleven minutes ago (according to Google), it's official.

New York State has legalized gay marriage.

GO NEW YORK!

A colleague of mine is on holiday in NYC just now. Maybe he'll come home with a husband. (Probably not, since his girlfriend would be a bit ticked off by that. ;D) But good to think it's possible.

I am so proud of my state. This was long overdue, but I'm glad that it finally happened. Go, New York! :D
