Okay, this is NOT going to be my favorite episode. I can barely decipher a word anyone is saying; the accents of the guest stars are so strong that the only people I can understand are the Doctor, Rory and Amy.
I had a bit of trouble keeping their words straight as well. I got the gist of what they were saying, and it was a good bit easier when they weren't in those acid suits.
I got the idea--they were using plastic bodies and dumping copies of their memories and personalities in those bodies. And the plastic people decided they were people too. I didn't honestly see that this was a problem--once the plastic people lived long enough, they'd have memories that didn't correspond to those of the humans and there wouldn't be any question of identity. They'd be different people, even if they looked similar.
It's just if you break it down, scene by scene, there was a lot of incomprehensible fast talk, interrupted by one or two sentences that I understood. I had the same problem with the UK version of Life on Mars--I never understood a word that Gene Hunt said.
I might have managed better if there had been subtitles. *sigh*
