Oh jeez. I'm just getting caught up on LJ, so I hadn't seen that you were heatless. Considering where you live, I can't even imagine how horrible it is. I hope they get your furnace in tomorrow.
I saw in an earlier post that you didn't want to use the space heater, but I think if they can't get your furnace in, it's really a matter of survival.
I don't know how I'll pay the electric bills, that's the thing. And the electric company is already convinced that my estimated bills are too low and is engaged in jacking them up.
What drives me mad is that I can't even think of doing anything creative when I'm cold. All I can think about is how cold it is and how I wish I were in Australia or Fiji or Borneo--somewhere far away where it's roasting hot summer. I can't imagine how all those writers who starved and froze in garrets managed to write anything when their hands were stiff with cold and the ink in their pens didn't want to run.
I know it'll cost a lot, but it's a matter of survival. How about use the space heaters until a new furnace is installed--and THEN friends can help with the electric bill?
Use your bloody heaters, for god's sake. It's far colder here right now - minus sixteen degrees last night. Put the heater on lowest heat and put it next to you.
And I don't know of any dragons that produce a different dragon than their dam and sire. Thunder dragons crossed with anything probably have a chance of producing a thunder dragon, same as any cross.
