Name one character from any fandom I know and I will give you three facts about them from my personal canon.
The canons that I know would be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Lord of the Rings,
Highlander, Doctor Who and, of course, Harry Potter. (I'll omit Star Wars because I don't really have personal canon for that, and A Song

Oooh, or Peter Pettigrew. Hmmm. Whichever of the two you'd prefer.

2) Even years after the fact, Xander has nightmares about killing Jesse. In his dreams, he's always a hideous monster killing a teenaged boy, which is pretty much the opposite of the way that it really happened. But, because he blames himself for Jesse being bitten, to him it makes sense.
3) He never stopped loving Anya. And he thinks that if Anya had lived, they would have gotten back together.
a) As soon as he got accepted into the Healer program at St. Mungo's, which happened a few weeks after he left Hogwarts, Peter moved out of his mother's flat in Birmingham and rented one in London so that he could be close to the hospital.
b) In addition to loving Star Wars, Peter's also addicted to Doctor Whoc) Of the four Marauders, Peter actually dated the most. There were a lot of girls who wanted to date the ( ... )

2) Lehane isn't her mother's maiden name or her married name. It's a name that her mother made up. Faith doesn't know why she made it up, either; her mother gave her a dozen different definitions, numerology readings, etc. Faith doesn't like using it because it doesn't feel real to her.
3) She's very good at fixing things, mainly because her mother was lousy at calling repairmen and they could rarely afford to pay them anyway. As a result of years of trial and error, Faith has now learned to repair just about anything.

1) Grima isn't of pure Rohirric stock. His mother was a Harad, which explains his dark hair and eyes.
2) He never fought in a war or even a skirmish; he caught the Middle-Earth equivalent of polio when he was about nine or ten. His father, a guard in Edoras, died of the same disease. Theoden, pitying the boy, gave orders that he be trained as a scribe and scholar...which seemed like the best life that the crippled orphan could have. (Not much of one, by Rohirric standards, but something.)
3) He's a good if not great rider, and enjoys riding. The reason is twofold. First, on a horse, he can move as fast as anyone. Second, when he rides, he feels that he's the absolute master of the animal...part of the same dynamic that leads him to want Theoden's power, and Eowyn as a path to keeping that power after Theoden dies. (He neither loves nor lusts for Eowyn. Fundamentally, he's asexual. What he wants is what she represents--wealth, power, good bloodlines, having an accepted place by Theoden's side and in his heart

2) Eowyn got the Shieldmaiden training first because it was traditional and secondly because Theoden felt that it would be unwise for a girl or maiden to live in a warrior culture and yet not be able to fight/defend herself. His main objection was that this was ALL Eowyn wanted to be.
3) Eomer strongly resembles Theoden's son, Theodred. Eowyn strongly resembles Theoden's sister, Theodwyn.
