Queerditch Pub Stories

A couple of queerditch_pub offerings. One is more the beginning of a story than a story itself. The other isn't a ficlet at all--it's a short story. And I think it might qualify for omniocular's Anywhere But Here challenge, even though that's over with now.

Oh, and spoilers for HBP in both.

Two thumbs up! I really loved that ficlet. Everything worked perfectly, from the dialog to the pacing to the action. Spiffy.

Turns out that I have a lot of editing to do of yesterday's photos from the shoot, so today would have been a washout.

I really should stop procrastinating and go back to editing the pix.

I read the second ficlet first, without realizing that it was behind a second lj-cut, and that there was a ficlet preceding it.

I just finished the first ficlet. It was as spot-on as the second. Nicely done!

It does. Though I love your Remus and Sirius. Comedy is so hard to write, and you do it perfectly.

Both stories are most excellent. I think I like the first one better, if only because Regulus + plot = <33333.

No, I can't. I'm just going to have to write more of the story AND work on my novel AND write short stories and try to get them published. Because Regulus and Hermione are being stubborn. (And Regulus wants to tell Harry a few things about people that Harry thinks he knows all about but doesn't. Like James. And Sirius. And Snape. And Peter.)

*ruefully* Oh, yes. Both characters have kept chattering since that bit was done. So I'd say there's a very good chance for more Regulus-and-Hermione.
