HBP and the Name of Lucius Malfoy's Father

I'll say right out that I think that this is rather neat--a clever name, and it dovetails nicely with the names of Lucius and Draco.

There isn't any spoiler specifically in my LJ, but there is a link to another location where information about a particular bearer of the name can be found.

That's definitely cool--his son is Lucius, which means "light" but has connotations of Lucifer; and his grandson is Draco, the dragon. I noticed the name, but hadn't really given it any thought.

Well, that's interesting. So the grandfather's name is another name for God, the father's name means Light (which brings up Lucifer, the Light-bringer), and the son's name means Dragon or Devil (just like Dracula means Son of Devil). Very interesting indeed.
