That does indeed suck balls. I am sure there are numbers and email addresses in there that would be difficult, if not impossible to get again. Gah.

yes losing a phone does suck... Hope they still find it though, if not only for the numbers and stuff that are in it.

But I am glad you had a gret time in Disneyland :-)

Do you live really close to Disneyland?

I've been reading up on the Sidekicks, and I am not happy with what I have been discovering. The main points:

1. "doesn't sync with Mac"
2. "you have to download and pay extra for a simple alarm clock application"
3. you can't upload mp3 for ringtones - you have to buy them - and I doubt Stargate theme would even be available to buy.
4. no calculator
5. You have to have the sidekick data plan ($20 a month) to use the email and AIM features.

And I live about 45 miles or so from Disneyland.

I have the MDA. I almost went with the sidekick, but I'm glad I decided on the MDA.

I just checked the t-mobile website (I assume that's who you have) and the Dash looks like the closest to my MDA.

Reading the reviews for the Dash on amazon. Everyone seems to love it. The features seem more up my alley too. I've been hesitant to get a smart phone in the past, because I thought they were just 'too much phone', but I think smart phones have gotten smarter and I think I might be at a point where I would actually use more of the features.

I think I will check this one out at the T-Mobile store too - it's listed as the same price as a sidekick on the website.

It's just looking more and more like a sidekick will not be the device that I really want it to be.

You will love your new 'kick and will never want to give it up. Seriously.
