I know that feeling well. I think I did the same thing when I bought my shiny new camera. You kinda have to considering the price. ;) I know I did considering the price I paid and the neighborhood I live in. ::rolleyes::

I had it shipped to my work so I wouldn't have to worry about it. It has a signature required and I know I would never be home when it came. This way the receptionist will sign for it and put it in the mail room and I'll get an email when it arrives. Yay!

I didn't send mine to my work but the post office left a note in my box so I had to go pick it up. ;D

I share your pain! I've done that with all sorts of things over the years, the best time was when repeated winter storms shut the pass to town and I got the repeated message of 'enroute from Denver' followed by 'in Denver' 'enroute from Denver' 'in Denver'. *g* I hope it gets there soon! And good luck on the dress too.
