Our school dresses will look kind of fugly with tights, but oh well. It's not a fashion competition anyway.

Except with the wigs. Whoever has the best wig wins. ;)

Well, since the rule only applies to those in Prelim and Open Championships who most likely won't be wearing school dresses, it doesn't matter.

*sigh* I think I just need to stop reading all the bitching about it.

And you are so right. It's all about the giant wigs! You should see the latest, more 'natural' ones. Fugly!
