Title: Denial Isn't a River in Egypt (9/?) Rating: R (for occasional use of profanity) Spoilers: Through Who's Your Daddy; all subsequent episodes are just figments of your imagination. :) Disclaimer/other: See Part 1
Worth waiting for. I like Cuddy in professional mode. And you captured Cameron perfectly - "She had an annoying habit of overstepping personal boundaries-all with the best of intentions."
Thanks so much, for both the ego boo and your support.
I'm positively thrilled that you liked how I portrayed Cuddy and Cameron. Okay, maybe 'relieved' might be a better word, but you get the idea. ;-) I'm still tickled pink. Thanks!
Btw, I meant to add that I enjoyed the way you portrayed Cameron's more annoying qualities. And I can't believe you gave Wilson some OTHER mysterious medical problem, as if he didn't have enough to deal with already!
It's no wonder he's been showing up in my head and asking for booze. Poor guy.
I have to confess, I really struggled trying to figure out how I wanted to portray Cameron. But I guess I'll resist the temptation to make some snarky remark about the show's writers having the same problem these days. Oops, too late, huh?
And please feel free to send a drunken Wilson my way if he's bothering you too much. *wibble*
I promise I won't hurt him...too badly. ~whistles innocently~
Sorry to hear you've been feeling lousy. Hope the spring weather (if you live somewhere where spring has begun...) helps.
Your description of Cameron is great. She might mean well, but her actions are ridiculous. Glad to see Cuddy worrying at the bedside and being a doctor.
As usual-looking forward to the next chapter. Oh, the suspense...
Thanks for the positive vibes and cool feedback. That's definitely better than chicken soup. :)
I just woke up from a nap, and feel surprisingly good for the first time in ages. It must be from the endorphin rush I got from firing up the computer and finding all these wonderful comments posted. Wheeeeeeeeee!
And fear not, I'm already working on the next update. I managed to get a couple of pages written earlier today the old-fashioned way, with pencil and paper. *cringe*
Oh no new symptoms! Hope to find out soon! Loved House's threats, lol. Loved the way you wrote Cuddy as well. I'm pretty much echoing what everyone else has said I know.
Ahem. Have Cuddy kick Wilsie for me, okay? Is he about to go into cardiac arrest or something? And where the hell is House at the moment, besides off beating the kids into submission. I really hope whatever's about to happen to Wilsie will be stabilized quickly. And that you update as soon as you can. That was a very mean cliffhanger.
Oh, my snark, is House having a spasm? That just occurred to me. He'll be the next bed now. I probably shouldn't feel so glad about that scenario.

I loved House's threats, and Wilson's obsession with work, and, well, everything.
:-)
I'll write more when I'm more coherent, I think.
