It's amazing what people will choose to believe no matter how obviously false it is. Why would Brad (or any member of the Pyrates, for that matter) take an internal issue to Carolyn? She's not a denmother. It's not her job to make the kiddies "play nice".
One of the unfortunate side effects of this sort of blather (when people tell lies believing them to be true), is that after a very short while, people refuse to listen to the real truth even when it is spelled out for them and evidence is presented and verified.
I'm sorry to hear that this kind of stuff is happening, as this is the kind of situation where everyone loses.
It may be obviously false to people who have a working knowledge of the faire and the structure of the entertainment division, but there are those who never let the truth get in the way of a good story, or those who simply don't put that much thought into it.
I hadn't heard the story, but I know from my own experience that she deals with the group leader and only the group leader... Internal politics of the group are not her affair, and if anyone from a group brings that set of politics to her, she's likely to not invite the group back (which has been known to be done).
Carolyn's only caviat to that is that if a group member does not show up, she does not pay the full price for the group that she had previously agreed to, because the group no longer contains the number of people they had.

You poor thing... the rapidity with which you put that forth suggests to me that it's not the first time you've had to use that expression.

Oh, no indeed. It's one of MDRF Entertainment's favorite phrases.
