What are your first semester classes?

Any stories of people who think they know everything being made fools of yet?

Torts, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Criminal, Property, LPS (legal practice? practical? skills).
We had one proff pick on a guy the 1st day, and call on him for ever question. I had one grill me today, who specifically stated "not to pick on you or anything". But overall, they have been good. One said his 1st year or two of teaching he used to pick on students, until one day a student came up to him after class and said "um, so the reason I was unprepared today was because my fiance almost died in a car accident last night".
