This weekend was awesome. I went to the Chicago area for Tori's brother Grant's wedding. The ceremony, reception, and activities surrounding it were great. I helped set up, sat at table #1 and everyone there made me feel really welcome. All in all, it was an awesome time. I really like that area ( Read more... )

I totally understand. I actually have thought about the situation of possibly being able to donate a kidney to someone else, and wondered what I would do.

I don't think you should feel guilty. If you were by some chance to donate it and then him not take care of it, how would that feel? I totally understand wanting to do it, though. It's a tough spot to be in.

Eek, that sounds scary! I hope your grandfather gets better soon. Donating a kidney would be a gigantic sacrifice, so I don't think you should feel guilty for thinking you might not want to do it. The shoulder thing sounds painful, too. And that sucks that your work health insurance isn't great. Neither is ours. Boo.
