So... if I were to start watching this show starting from these season, would I be able to follow along?

I generally know what happened the last season/how it ended... even if I haven't watched an episode. It's just, everyone keeps talking about it!

Probably. There's generally never that many continuity-based episodes, and if there are, they happen within the context of the season. However, you've probably heard that people from earlier seasons are coming back, and I think at some point toward the end of this one you will need to know the basics of what happened. They'll probably give new viewers flashbacks, but it helps to know the full story.

Either way, you should definitely go check out the first three seasons whenever you get the chance. JUST SO MUCH FUN! NBVWP985GHAUEHLCBAN3CNF;AV 9A VATUAH;.

oh don't worry, I was planning to watch the old episodes ;) there's just no way I'd get through them before the new series started!

so, it was between starting the new series now and catching up over the summer - or starting from the beginning now, and waiting to watch the new series in order

Haha totally true. xD I'm always like 'Oh it's already tomorrow in Australia' when I go to bed. That's really freaky. :D

But YAY you for getting a 5th season of Doctor Who! :D
I'm still waiting for the first season to be continued on German telly. :/

LOL. Yes it does get a bit weird. I actually didn't even think about it till last night when I checked the date and went, "Oh, whoops. All over already."

I can't wait for the new season. Do you just watch on tellie or do you keep up through "other" means?
