I would so much prefer to be on vacation today. Perhaps that thought has inspired this, my answer to this week's drabble challenge at Black Pearl Sails:
a second later, a final glimmer from the depths. Then gone, indeed. Along with his plans and hopes and dreams.
Apparently Monday Morning Angst suits you quite well. Excellent look a what happened right after we leave that scene. Richly done and sad and beautiful.
