A reply to the current blackpearlsails drabble challenge, prompt: Shipwreck. It's more like 500+ words, but what can I say? I'm out of practice? Unbetaed, too, which is worse, but hopefully not too full of errors.
I really enjoy fic about Shipwreck Cove, one of the best ideas to come out of AWE. Thank you so much for reading and commenting -- I'm glad to know you enjoyed the visit!
I loved this! Took me right to the place, too. And it's amazing how sexy it is--the way you conjure that moment "after" is splendid. Thanks for a lovely morsel on a hungry day.
That post-holiday thing is a troublesome kind of blues. More pirate!fic is an excellent antidote, I must agree. I'm so glad you enjoyed this instance. Thank you very much for reading and commenting!
Lovely scene between them! I can imagine that would be a favourite spot, it sounds like an amazing view, and it's certainly a fascinating place, Shipwreck Cove.
“I’ll go easier next time, shall I?” he murmured, with spurious sympathy. “Not if I have anything to say about it” ... “I shall have my revenge, you just wait, Jack Sparrow. But… not just now.” That exchange is wonderful. And a captainly blush, yes, I do wonder if that can be achieved at all ;-)
I also really liked Elizabeth's: "And Shipwreck City, like some nightmare castle, monstrous, rising up and up, with a thousand lanterns glowing like diamonds." And how the place gave her hope even so. Also, how she she looked back, calm and certain.

I shall have my revenge, you just wait, Jack Sparrow.
Does it mean... a captainly blush? *evil smirk*
