Fic: 'Bath Holiday' (3 & 4/4 - J/E - PG13)

Jan 08, 2012 11:12

Here, finally, are the concluding chapters of my Twelve Days of Christmas offering, Bath Holiday, delayed due to a post-Christmas flu that's been wreaking havoc among my family (including little grandson, poor baby). Many thanks, as always, to hereswith for editing.

Oh, this was a lovely holiday story! The setting provides such contrast for them, and their clandestine and utterly romantic love affairs, vital words left unsaid until the very nick of time, promises made, to be kept anon Your rich and heartfelt prose is the icing on the Christmas cake :-) Thanks so much for writing this and sharing with it us ♥

I'm sorry to hear that you all were struck with the Christmas flu as well. Particularly the little one.

This is a lovely conclusion to your tale. It's very atmospheric once they're in the bedroom with the cold air and the snowflakes blowing in. And just the right note of cheer and hope for a Christmas story. The kitten doesn't hurt either. :)

Thank you for sharing, my dear! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Christmas flu, and now a horrid cold! Gah! But thank you so very much for your good wishes and for reading and commenting on the final bits of Bath Holiday. And I have to agree that kittens make everything better. :D

Happy New Year!
