Awww! So sweet and domestic on the gundeck! I kept getting mental whiplash as the story skipped from chicken pox and oatmeal baths to truly luscious and Jackish memories of lovemaking. It's one of the wonderful things about Jack Sparrow, that he's so multi-faceted, and you capture the feel of it beautifully. Harry is such a great character, already busy mothering Jack's crew, and I like her relationship with the Pearl. (Of course you know the Pearl is my favourite character :D). But poor Owens having to strip down to the altogether in front of a pretty lady. Harry's different view of herself from everyone's first impressions is a delight. It's always a pleasure to join this little universe you've created.

Yeah, love the lady and the pirate and takin' lucious indulgent pleasure in reading and re-reading! Did I mention I adore Michael Owens and love that he is so in awe of Harry. I would think he would be ever so careful around her becos of the island adventure she almost got his tail in a crack with his captain--I love the wilfulness of both partners, my observation they seem to take turns on who's to be going on 5 in any given crisis. I love Harry's just gotohell attitude, really, ain't how much dog is in the fight, rather how much fight is in the dog! She's quite the general and then she's a fluffy darlin' girly girl and neither face is false. I am so glad she befriended you and allowed her story to be shared, gracious little bossy lady. Jack definitely caught on early about choosing his battles and I believe that is in part maybe...? to his knowing how easily he can persuade her to be his wicked partner in acting out. What a smooth hoot the pair and how fierce they are together, loving and protecting one another. Just good you
