Wrote this in response to the current drabble challenge at blackpearlsails, theme: 'pillow'. This bit is out of order, I'm still working on part 4 of the story, but the first three parts are here...

“I’m afraid I could get used to this" how cool is this! and I love saying that line--pretty picture of Pearl post storm--just like it, nothing as nice as when the sea is all settled. Made my day to see this darling read! Thank you.

Sorry, naw, not so, Happy as a clam to say, can't help it don't want to help it--I like what you've writ from the first thing I've read about three years ago. Haven't ever been left hanging==you come home with treasure and it was always worth the voyage!! If you'd just write crummy stories wouldn't be a problem, but you keep turning gold. I could get used to it, squalls and all - nothing better than sleeping on a ship while there's weather going on, and you know that there's other people on the bridge taking care of the ship.

Very sweet. I am assuming (looking forward to) a bit of a confrontation in part 4 though... :-)
