Thanks! It kinda came out of the blue--I don't usually write J/A. I must've been rereading Amberlin's J/A vignettes over on ff.net--they are some of the first PotC fics I ever read, and I really loved them. Maybe I should rec them on the next Reccing Ball...

Oh, thanks! I find Ana fun to write, sometimes. One has to be careful not to make her too grouchy, but she has to have that edge, too.

Mmm, so sexy and sweet, and somehow all the more so because nothing's exactly easy between these two! Your Anamaria is endearingly grouchy, and your Jack -- well, yum. I just want to put him in my pocket and take him home with me! ;)

I've been trying to reply to this for several hours but LJ is doing its Weird Thing. So happy you liked it. I always think of you, of course, when I write Jack and Ana stuff, and really did have you in mind when I started writing it a while back. Hope I didn't steal your wind on any of the elements. I'm looking forward to reading more from you, soon!

Naah, you didn't take any wind out of my sails with the piece I'm working on. Not one whit! Actually, I considered it more like, 'great minds' and all that lot. So, no worries.

Well.. Off to do some writing.

Incidently, I've been reading the help thing here on LJ and still trying to get the hang of posting. I'm still drawing a blank. *sighs*.. I've learned loads of other things.. but that's one I'm not seeming to get.

I'll continue to try.. but if I ever throw in the towel, would you consider lending a helping hand? Not that I'm giving up just yet, but it's not looking good..

I'd be glad to give you any help I can. It's pretty easy, really, although LJ has been acting up a bit lately. It's no wonder, though, considering the number of posts around here.

I got another review on ff.net, by the way, that was from a very enthusiastic reader: I think her review was longer than my story! Apparently J/A is a very popular pairing.
