If you can spare any of that rain, send it to NC, pretty please with a chocolate covered Will Turner on top? Our drought is just getting worse right now.
Last year we had something like 4" of rain for the whole year, so we probably have you beat. However, I'd be glad to send it along tomorrow -- I have tickets for a concert at the Getty, and I think it's outdoor seating. :((
I didn't know you lived around here, either! It's a very small world. Yes, we've been loving the rain. Wish it would hang around longer, but it seems to be clearing to the northwest.
I remember how fun it was to wear rain gear, back in elementary school. We don't get that much chance out here. My co-workers and I were saying we should have "Rain Days", like other places have Snow Days, so we can stay home and bake cookies, or sit by the fire with a good book. *g*
Ugh, here too. The one day I don't bring my umbrella to uni, and I'm stuck hiding in the library until the worst of it's over. Really not looking forward to walking home...
I had such a good time wearing my pea coat and taking out my umbrella! I even skipped out on class early just so I could splash around. It's about damn time we got a soaking down, man!

Seems to have stopped here -- maybe it'll move on quickly there, too.

My kids were thrilled beyond belief to go to school in rain jackets and umbrellas. I wonder if they will come home with them...
