Daddy, I want a better TaDaList NOW!

I've started using tadalist.com, a link reccomended by the_xtina, but now I want MORE.

It's not enough for a full-blown list afficionado/addict like me to have single-level lists, each located on their own page. Oh no.

I want them to do the fun stuff, the cool dhtml show/hide stuff. I think that's what Google's doing with Gmail conversations, and it ( Read more... )

But is the casual list-maker really using a web service to make their lists?

Yes!  *waves*

There's a chance that the parent company has a more robust to-do list going on.  I don't need the hugeness, so I don't bother with it.

I think the only way I could improve this for me would be to have two boxes for each item - grouping and due date, neither of which are mandatory.  I have a list up for shit I need to do before the house is shown, so I want to be able to sort it by due date, and to sort it by whatever grouping I want.  (In this case, it'd be group things like "packing", "house maintenance" (painting, &c), "kitty stuff", &c.)

hmmm you don't strike me as casual, missy.

I did check out their other stuff but it's mostly enterprise-level stuff that i don't need. But grouping would be cool... you could also then cross reference items across different lists, and when it gets checked off one, it checks off all of them.

So if on your Show the House list, you have Paint the Cat into a Corner, you could also have that on your To Do Today list, which might also include Groceries or See if the Sex Shop Accepts Returns. Y'know. Normal stuff like that. *grin*
