My older brother's birthday is coming up, and I'm low on funds and can't buy him the video game he wants, so I made him a gift instead. He loves cartoons and bugged me for ages about watching Despicable Me which he really liked. So I found a knitting pattern and made him a minion! thanks! If I can figure out a better way to construct the bag I'm totally thinking of making more. I have trailers for Green Lantern, Scott Pilgrim, Cabin in the Woods, and a few other recent releases.

I was so confused by what you meant by 'hacking the trailer to bits'... I didn't realise you meant on actual film!

This lady is using something she refers to as 'polyester film' to back it up...

Oo! Clear Mack tack! Something like this. It'll be difficult to put on there now that the whole thing is assembled, though.

I did consider using some clear mack tak to cover it, but everything is already really sturdy and durable except the joins between the sides and bottom. I was thinking maybe running a small bead of glue along the edge might work to reinforce it, but I would need to experiment on some other film so as not to risk ruining the bag.

it was really easy! Make an army worth! (I am probably going to make my brother at least 1 more, just not before his birthday next week. And my sister wants a bag, not sure which movie).
