I'd love to see some instructions for some historical textile crafts, I love to crochet and do needle point/cross stitching so that would be right up my alley! :D

I've been toying with the idea of creating some dice out of Puncetto Lace. If you're familiar with needlepoint, it should be easy for you to learn. The basic stitch involved is pretty simple. I think I might have to dig out some of my variegated crochet thread and make one or two to post here ...

awesome job on the purse

I would also like info on historical/obscure crafts. I do crochet, knitting,sewing, cross stitch, embroidery, and am trying to learn tatting

I had the hardest time learning how to tat until I discovered needle tatting. Have you tried that yet? It's so much simpler than using a tatting shuttle.
