How long does it take you to do each one?

It takes about 10 mins a square depending on what I'm up to.

So times that by how ever many squares are in each blanket and then add sewing together time.

It's hard to work out since I tend to do it a bit at a time. :o)

Those are rather delightfully geeky. ;) I'm highly entertained by how crochet patches go so well into pixelated art. (Hmmm...I am thinking I may need to show these to my mom...)

I love them! Though I think the higher contrast of the dark background works better than the white and blue. Or maybe I'm just used to playing SI with a black background. Whatever, the idea and execution are great. <3

Yeah I like the darker colours too, but I've been selling the smaller one as a baby blanket and Mums only like pale colours it would seem!

ETA: What about white on a coloured background? Have you done it? If so, how did it work?

I want to but currently I'm doing 2 with a baby pink invader on white so haven't had chance to try. I bet it would look good though...

You could always get a little one for yourself so you're future-proofed! ;o)
