This is how I spent the latter part of my evening last night. That cat is so grounded. Chris again earns title "Hero of the Revolution" for retrieving him, because I was almost ready to let Brave Sir Dumbass stay outside all night.

You know what makes everything better though? OMG ponies!!1!11!! Okay, technically it's a miniature horse. (via cuteoverload)

Since the superior feline proceeded to nearly fall off my night table three times in five minutes after coming back inside, I think that's probably not it. ;)

When I said "I have to go" and hung up, Gateway was balanced on top of the six-foot-high fence that separates our deck from the neighbors' and was just starting to jump down the other side.

Ugh, what terrible timing that was. =/

Up until this point, he's not shown any comprehension at all that he might be able to jump up on the railing and from there up onto the dividing fence. If he had, no way would we be letting him wander in and out onto the deck at will when we're not paying complete attention.
