I have Wellbutrin now, hallelujah!

And slightly high LDLs, and a little less blood then I came into the office with (again), but otherwise I seem to be okay health-wise (assuming none of today's tests come back with anything unusual, which I don't expect them to).

specific details of interest only to me )

crazymeds, health

Did you get the brand-name stuff or the generic? I'm taking the generic, and am wondering if there's a difference. (I know there's not *supposed* to be.)

I have samples of Wellbutrin XL at the moment and a prescription for it to fill later on (she said they could substitute generic if need be). I just got it, so no idea how it works yet.

Great userpic, by the way!

I'm glad to hear it.

BTW, two side effects of Wellbutrin are increased libido (it is often prescribed to help with the sexual side effects of SSRIs) and decreased appetite.

Seeing as how I forgot to eat anything at all until 7 last night, decreased appetite may not be such a great thing. On the other hand, I can't really eat *less* than that, so it'll be okay.

Others care about your health too, sweetie. :) My test results (93) say that given fasting beforehand, 65-99 glucose is normal, 100-125 is "impaired" and above that indicates diabetes. Given that you didn't fast, that just puts you in the upper end of normal... and my results said that anything LDL-wise under 130 was OK (mine was 125). How were your thyroid results? patgreene is concerned herself about low thyroid function.

Yeah, neither of us are worried about the glucose seeing as how I'd eaten vanilla yogurt before coming in, it doesn't appear to be anything to worry about. My LDLs are above optimal, but not dangerous; still something to keep an eye on so they don't get any higher, they should be under 100 ideally. Thyroid I don't remember the exact numbers but it was within normal range she said.

When I said "of interest only to me", I meant nobody else really cares about the specific numbers I'd imagine.
