Here is the promised author interview with Kimberley Pauley, writer of "Sucks To Be Me," and it's sequel, "Still Sucks To Be Me." My questions are the bolded font, and Kimberley's replies are the normal text, although I did add the hyperlinks to her website in her last response.

This is pretty cool and I'll be keeping an eye out for these books (although I've read the excerpt from the website and it may be a little young for me).

I can already tell you I'm interested in how the vampire myths are used in the story and I was wondering about the name "Mina", but that's covered right at the beginning.

I like the cover and laughed at "Nathan Able". The sequel's full title kind of gives Mina's decision away though, although it may be obvious in the book anyway.

Okay, sorry for the double post, but I was still browsing Pauley's site and I have to know; are there vampire SQUIRRELS in the book? O.O!

'Cause if so, I am SOLD. XD

Lol yeah "Sucks to Be Me" is certainly supposed to be for younger/early teens readers... but I'm finding that I HATE most adult books because they're so sappy and stupid so I have to stick to Young Adult.

And as for the Squirrels I'm not entirely sure. I don't remember any in the first book, but she does have these AWESOME little doodles in the pages of the book that have vampire squirrels. XD The second book might have some. T_T Currently I am on the wait list for that book so I haven't been able to read it yet. I'll let you know though when I get my hands on it!
