There is a choice: to die or to kill. If he attacks me and I do not kill him, he will continue to attempt to kill me, and one day will succeed -- particularly if my geass does not work on him again.
Shirley says she will think no differently of me if I am Zero -- but can I trust her? It's a fifty-fifty chance; not tell her and hope she gets rid of the notion, or get her to our side before Suzaku gets to her?
I will try to use geass on her. Otherwise, I'll have to admit that I am, indeed, Zero. If I turn her to my side, Suzaku will not be able to use her against me.
Hopefully, it can all be resolved by using geass against him...
It didn't work on Shirley, however -- she clearly hasn't died, so I think it would be a bad idea to do it on Suzaku. The bullet never left my gun, after all.
And if you attempt to use it, use it with finality.

... And I understand what you mean by "no choice". Choice is always there, no? It's what they say.
But I still understand "no" choice.

What a sticky situation.

However, I have very few alternatives to telling her my identity. Leaving her to be persuaded by Mao or Suzaku would be even more dangerous.
